Pennings Farm Cidery and the Rashad Jennings Foundation are proud to announce Running Back to the Farm, an all ages event positioned to raise money for underprivileged youth literacy, mentorship and health & fitness programs. Former NY Giants Running Back, Rashad Jennings, teams up with the Pennings farm family to produce this celebrity inspired event on August 10, 2-7PM.

Running Back to the Farm is all about raising money for a cause that is near and dear to Rashad Jennings. Jennings was an average kid, of above average weight, with below average grades, with what were considered unattainable dreams of becoming an NFL Running Back. Jennings was given a break not many receive, when he was inspired through education, provided direction to reach success and encouraged to adopt health and fitness as a way of life. He proved his doubters wrong when he stepped onto the turf as a NY Giants Running Back from 2014 -2017, reigned champion on Dancing with the Stars Season 24 and became a published author, proving his strengths as an athlete, team-player and scholar. 
The Rashad Jennings Foundation is Jennings current playbook used to create possibilities for young dreamers to reach their goals just as he did. Through the foundation, and the Running Back to the Farm event, Jennings takes on a similar role to that of a running back when he receives ‘handoffs’ of monetary contributions to be used to inspire youth nationwide to blitz in the face of adversity. Pennings Farm Cidery aligns itself with the Rashad Jennings philosophy of mentoring and encouraging youth to strive for personal success. 

The day is packed with live music, delicious food truck eats, a selection of Pennings Farm Cidery’s own hard cider, New York State craft beer, wine and specialty cocktails, silent auctions and fun activities for all ages.

Rashad Jennings will be on the farm throughout the Running Back to the Farm event, mingling through the crowd for meet and greets, along with a few surprise guests. NY Giants fans have an opportunity to take home New York Giants tickets & field passes, signed memorabilia and much more through raffles and silent auctions. All proceeds will benefit the Rashad Jennings Foundation.

Pennings Farm Cidery is located directly behind Pennings Farm Market nestled against the hillside apple and peach orchards in an Amish-constructed barn, housing the production facility and taproom that seats up to 70 patrons indoors and offers outside covered patio seating as well as nearly an acre of lawn seating surrounded by Pennings Orchard with a vast view of the Warwick Valley. The Cidery allows the seasons to dictate the year-round calendar: taproom and production hours are available on the website. Our annual Family Fun Fest & Health Expo is a community day completely free of charge that offers food, music, performers, games, inflatables & more! No sign up required, just come out for a fun day and to meet Rashad!

Our annual Camp 180 is a youth football camp, open to 500 participants (ages 6-17) on a first-come, first-serve basis, has a coaching staff consisting of former NFL players, high school and recreational coaches as well as volunteers. Coaching staff will emphasize fundamentals, form and technique. The Rashad Jennings Camp 180 is a non-contact camp. No pads worn. To register your camper, click here.

Who is in need of a date night?! Grab your honey and join us for our Rashad Jennings' Date Night at the LaHaye Recreation and Fitness Center's Event Space at Liberty University on Friday, July 12th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Our evening will consist of a half an hour of mixing and mingling, dinner, a 1.5 panel discussion regarding various relationship topics, a 1 hour ballroom dance lesson taught by Dancing with the Stars Season 24 Champion, Rashad Jennings, followed by an optional 1 hour of social dance. • 30 Minute Mix & Mingle: Our couples will get to know each other and to know Rashad. We will then invite our couples to line up at our dinner buffet to get their food prior to the panel beginning.

• 1.5-Hour Power Panel: A panel including Rashad, who will be asking great starter-questions to receive advice for himself. Our two licensed Relationship/Marriage Counselors will share helpful principles that anyone can use. It will be a time of light and enjoyable discussion.

• Ballroom for Beginners: Rashad and Dance Instructors will teach ballroom dancing to our couples (styles may include Salsa, Zouk, the Foxtrot, and the Cha-Cha).
  

• Optional Social Dance (9:30pm - 10:30pm): Enjoying dancing with your honey? Why stop? The floor will be open for a social dance hour immediately following the dance lesson. 

This will be an amazing evening of dancing, mingling, learning, and fun! Attire is Casual. Dinner will be served. Tickets are $60 per couple (online) or $70 per couple at the door.

Our first annual Rashad Jennings’ 180 Table will take place on Thursday, July 11th from 6:30-8:30pm at E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, Virginia. This event will be a panel discussion, talking about multiple topics regarding the community. The 180 Table will be interactive and audience engaging. Come on out to join us at this free of charge and open to the public event!

Rashad Jennings' Date Night is a new event open to couples, married or dating! A renaissance of romance through the relationship of dance!

Come on out to our first ever Dance La Vie: A Rashad Jennings Date Night event on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 from 6:30pm - 9pm at Forest Recreation Center. The night will consist of a panel discussing relationships and marriage followed by an hour long ballroom dance class taught by Dancing With The Stars Mirror Ball Champion, Rashad Jennings and Arthur Murray Dance Instructors.
